Coffee chats from ₹300. Weddings from ₹2,500. A honest, category-by-category look at what a companion actually costs across Mumbai in 2026.

Pricing is one of the first things people want to know about a companion service, and it's fair. This piece walks through the real 2026 rates for GoWith companions in Mumbai, category by category, with the ranges you'll actually see when you open the app.

How companion pricing works on GoWith

Every service on GoWith has a platform-defined minimum and maximum price range. Within that range, individual companions set their own rates — a companion with 100 completed meets and a 4.95 rating will typically charge more than a new companion just starting out.

Prices are shown on every profile before you book. There are no hidden charges, no service fees added at checkout, and no per-minute overages.

Coffee chats & conversation

One-hour coffee meets are the most popular category and the entry point for most first-time bookers. Rates in Mumbai typically range from ₹300 to ₹600 per hour depending on the companion's experience and neighbourhood.

Instant bookings for coffee tend to run at the higher end of the range — companions live-on-map in Bandra or Colaba during evening hours can charge up to 25% more than the same companion's scheduled rate.

City walks & tours

A 2-hour city walk in Mumbai — say, Bandra to Fort, or a heritage walk through Kala Ghoda — runs from ₹800 to ₹1,400. Full-day tours (Colaba, Elephanta, or a multi-neighbourhood loop) are ₹2,500 to ₹4,500.

Local guides who've grown up in the city typically price at the higher end, and it's worth it — the difference between a Google-Maps walk and a local's walk is real.

Wedding plus-ones

The wedding plus-one category is priced by duration. A 4-hour reception typically runs ₹2,500 to ₹4,000. A full-day wedding (haldi through reception) is ₹5,000 to ₹9,000.

Companions for weddings tend to have a shortlist of experienced hosts — expect them to charge above the base range if they're formal-attire ready and have done 5+ wedding bookings before.

Dinner companions

A 2-hour dinner in Kala Ghoda, BKC, or Bandra typically runs ₹1,500 to ₹2,500. The rate does not include the meal — you split the bill, or one of you pays, per whatever you agree on when booking.

Some companions offer "dinner + walk" combo bookings at a slight discount to booking each separately.

Live gigs, gallery openings, and events

Evening event plus-ones range from ₹1,200 to ₹2,500 depending on duration and dress code. Ticket price for the event is separate — the booker either buys both tickets or reimburses the companion after.

Networking events & professional plus-ones

This is a specialised category. Companions with verified professional backgrounds (founders, product folk, ops leaders) charge ₹1,100 to ₹2,200 for a 2-hour networking evening, often with a LinkedIn-verified badge on the profile.

The rate is for their time and presence. Everything else — the coffee, the ticket, the meal — is separate.

GoWith pricing principle

What isn't priced separately

GoWith does not charge bookers a platform fee, service fee, booking fee, or convenience fee. The price you see on the profile is exactly what you pay. That's it.

The only exception: cancellations after acceptance may incur a partial charge to protect the companion's time. See our cancellation policy for details.
